Hi, I’m Molly, an integrative psychotherapist with 15 years of experience and the Founder of Soho Psychotherapy. I specialize in treating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance abuse & addiction issues, body-image issues, and adult children of alcoholics & dysfunctional families (ACOA). I also work extensively with college students, emerging adults, and young professionals as they navigate their own course.
I have a background in traditional psychodynamic talk therapy and am trained and certified in a range of experiential therapy modalities, including:

Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP)
Somatic Experiencing (SE)
Mindfulness
Motivational interviewing (MI)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy
Certified Rape Crisis Counseling/Advocacy
Safe & Sound Protocol
Polyvagal Theory
Attachment Theory and Styles
I utilize modalities rooted in evidence-based science, the neuroscience of the mind-body connection, and that emphasize relational attachments. I am also a Kundalini Yoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist.
Before opening a private practice, I helped develop a NYC- based independent living program and then launched the first satellite location in Washington, DC, where I was the Clinical Director. I specialized in working with college students and their families, supervised clinical and non-clinical staff, and ran clinical groups.
Before that, I oversaw residents in sober living at Hazelden Betty Ford in NYC. I have also worked at multiple substance abuse agencies, New York City emergency rooms, partial and inpatient psychiatric hospitalization programs, and sober living programs. Throughout my career, I have created and overseen meditation, nutrition, and mindfulness-based programming and curriculum as Clinical Director and Supervisor.
A long-time New Yorker and Brooklynite, I recently moved to Harlem with my family. I love hiking, museums, and the beach!

I maintain a program of deliberate professional development and continuing education. I am deeply committed to the lifelong process of developing, expanding, and refining my clinical toolbox.
